The Clare and Robert Moore Scholarship Fund awards a yearly $1,000 scholarship to an incoming first-year student or to a current Notre Dame of Maryland University student who is interested in or currently majoring in English. The scholarship can be applied to tuition, books, or educational fees.

Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence in Public Relations

Award Amount: $1,000

This scholarship was created to encourage graduate public relations students to pursue careers in corporate public relations, with the goal of making the public relations function more essential to the successful achievement of corporate goals consistent with the public interest, the precepts of sound business and the needs of key stakeholders.

The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program

The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the eighteen 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities. The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is implemented under the USDA Fellow Experience Program (FEP). Scholars accepted into the program will be appointed using the Schedule A(r) authority ( 5 CFR 213.3202) and are not eligible for automatic conversion but must apply and compete for USDA positions. The program awards scholarships to students attending one of the 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or related academic disciplines.
