Pastor Poullard

Pastor Darin Vincent Poullard has served as the Pastor of Fort Washington Baptist Church since October 2002. Under his leadership God has grown the congregation biblically, numerically, organizationally, and relationally. Together with the saints at Fort Washington Baptist Church, they are seeking to fulfill the vision that the Lord has given to them for His people in Fort Washington.

Pastor Poullard completed his undergraduate studies at New York City Technical College in Brooklyn, New York, where he earned an Associates degree in data processing, and York College in Jamaica, Queens where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems.

In 1988 Pastor Poullard relocated to Massachusetts where he worked in hi-tech as a programmer, consultant, and software engineer for 14 years at such companies as GTE, Filene’s Basement, Andersen Consulting, Price-Waterhouse and Coopers, Lotus Development Corporation, and IBM.

While a member at St. John’s Baptist Church in Woburn, Massachusetts, under the leadership of Pastor Larry Edmunds, Pastor Poullard served as the Family Life Minister teaching Bible Study, Sunday school, and Church at Study courses. He preached his initial sermon in 1992.

His seminary studies were done at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he earned a Masters in Urban Ministry in 1996 and a Master of Divinity in 2001.

Reverend Poullard has been married to his bride Vicki since 1990. Together God has blessed them with two daughters.

    Our Purpose is to preach, teach, and baptize people of every nation in order that they know the love of God and become disciples of Jesus Christ (Mt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).


    Our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through intentional evangelism, local and international missions, sound teaching, preaching, and applying of the Scriptures, implementing ministries that respond to needs, and through worship and fellowship.


    Our Vision is to become a fellowship of believers called and gifted by God to grow spiritually through worship, fellowship, and discipleship enabling us to model our lives after Jesus Christ and to minister to one another in order that our community is transformed spiritually, morally, economically and socially.
